You will start the tour in Pienza, one of the best preserved village. Walking through the medieval alleys and the Renaissance buildings you will enjoy the visit of the famous square, the beautiful Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta; Palazzo Piccolomini the summer residences of the Pope Pius II Piccolomini; the church of San Francesco and the church of Corsignano. You will enjoy a pecorino cheese tasting, the typical product of Pienza. Tour continues with the visit of Montalcino, famous for the well renowned wine Brunello and for its amazing Val d’Orcia landscape. Starting from the 14° century fortress, walking tour of the village and admire the Town Hall, the church of Sant’Elpidio, the arcades of Piazza del Popolo and the convents of Sant’Agostino and San Francesco. Tour will ends with a visit of a vineyards and Brunello wine tasting. |
